LoadRunner Analysis

A program that examines tests that have been run is called LoadRunner Analysis. The controller’s testing-generated dump is used by LoadRunner Analysis. The data in the dump is raw data, which LoadRunner Analysis processes to produce various tables and visualizations.

Since acquiring Mercury Interactive, Hewlett-Packard has been a market leader in performance and load testing with its LoadRunner product, which generates real loads to assess system behavior and performance.

By simulating hundreds or thousands of concurrent users, LoadRunner may subject an application to the rigors of real-world user loads while gathering data from important infrastructure elements (Web servers, database servers, etc.). To investigate the causes of certain behavior, the data can then be thoroughly evaluated.

The client-side application for an automated teller machine (ATM) is an example. Hundreds of ATMs may be available to the general public, even though each client is tied to a server. Sometimes, like 10 a.m., could be the busiest.

The first day of the work week, when there is a significantly heavier workload than usual. It is not feasible to build a testbed made up of numerous ATMs in order to test such scenarios. As a result, one can simulate numerous concurrent users visiting the server using an ATM simulator and a computer system with LoadRunner.

Activities are repeated after they have been defined. Managers can determine whether an issue still exists after debugging an application by simulating the same scenario and user interaction.

Analysis of Test Results for LoadRunner

Test Result Analysis and Reporting is the final and most crucial stage of the Performance Testing Life Cycle. Similar to LoadRunner, after the test is finished, it generates test results for analysis so that you can compare the result with the specified SLA and also find any issues. LoadRunner offers a special tool for performing the result analysis called “Micro Focus Analysis.”

In contrast to scripting and execution, it is always believed that performance test result analysis is the most crucial and technically complex aspect of performance testing. Analysis of performance test results needs your actual skills. You can identify bottlenecks and potential remedies during the analysis phase at the appropriate level, such as business, middleware, application, infrastructure, network, etc.

To analyze the performance test results, the Micro Focus Analysis tool is quite beneficial. The results are shown using a variety of graphs and data in the Micro Focus Analysis Tool in a clear, precise, and thorough manner.

After a test run, you may examine and interpret the data and assess system performance thanks to their assistance in identifying bottlenecks and reporting. Since the analysis tool contains a large number of graphs, making it difficult to describe each one individually. Try to focus on the key and fundamental graphs that will help you lay the groundwork for test result analysis.
